			<description><![CDATA[Peter was a very generous man. Every year he would bring in the most beautiful flowers at Christmas to the bank were I worked. Not just one plant but more than a couple of dozen. He would tell us that our decorating wasn't  done until his flowers were set around the office. 			<description><![CDATA[My cousin Pete literally saved my life. As a toddler, I climbed head first into a wine barrel filled with water and Pete, who was probably about 12 years old at the time, fished me out. My brothers were there to witness this, but it's not something I heard about until well into my adulthood. It was a very big deal since a small child can drown in 30 seconds. Yet, he never said anything to me even though he lived across the street! I asked him about it, and he confirmed that it did happen. Since he modestly thought this was no big deal, I just wanted everyone to know that Pete, The Bandit, was a hero.
