Condolence: After I attended public schools in Westport, it was clear to me that some teachers were extremely special and gifted. George Weigle was one of those teachers. He had a uncanny ability of bringing out the most beautiful musical sounds in his choral groups. As a Staples student who was not enthralled with school, choir and orphenians with Mr. Weigle made high school a positive experience for me.
