Obituary for Stephen P. Chacho

Stephen Patrick Chacho, 46, a long-time Westport resident died on January 27, 2011 at St Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. The cause of death was a heart attack after shoveling snow.

Born in Norwalk Hospital on March 1, 1964 to John and Lucille Chacho, he was a loving and dedicated son. He is a 1982 graduate of Staples High School and attended Sacred Heart University. In his youth and through High School, he was a gifted athlete, involved in track, wrestling and soccer.

Stephen was multi-talented and there wasn't much he couldn't accomplish. Advertising sales, writing, illustration, home remodeling but his passion was food and being with people. Most of his career was spent in the restaurant business and this is where he met his loving wife, Angela whom he adored.

To know Stephen was to love him. Full of life, with a twinkle in his eye, he was the epitome of kindness and generosity. He was a passionate and creative cook and was happiest when planning and creating elaborate meals for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Angela, stepchildren, Abbey-Lynn Albani and Joseph Albani, his parents, John and Lucille and his sister Susan Chacho. He is also survived by his mother in-law, Mary Abraham father in-law, Louis Mennillo, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
