Condolences

Condolence From: Amy Juba
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Johnson family. I got to know Lyle when we had back-to-back prayer shifts outside the hospital room of a young girl in our sons' school. I think back to that midnight and know that he loved and prayed for his own sons like that. I have prayed for him often over the past few years and am glad we made that brief spiritual connection.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Lyle's passing....we have been praying for you all and will continue to do so. It seems like its been forever since the days of Pampa however thats where some of our fondest memories are..."back in the day" with great friends. The picture you posted is exactly the way I remember him ...always with a smile that said he really was glad to see you. Lyle was one of the kindest most easy going men I have ever met....the world needs a lot more people like him. So sorry for your loss.

Condolence: It seems as though Lyle always had a joke to tell or smile to share. I remember having him around most of the time as a kid when I spent stretches with Lindsay and her family. And one memory comes to mind: I’m not certain where we were traveling to, but Lindsay and I sat in the back seat of Lyle and Carol’s Toyota Camry, which I thought was the most impressive car, and the whole trip there was laughing and loud singing to lighthearted tunes. I clearly remember Lyle singing “Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty momma…” then calling on “Willard” to take over. I remember thinking I wanted to be that “cool”, that happy, when I grew up. Lyle’s spunk and spirit will certainly be missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family; my sincerest condolences.

Condolence: I attended school with Lyle for many years. He was such a fun loving kind of guy. So layed back and always smiling. I lost my first husband and father of my 2 children 23 years ago. My advice to each of you is to hold on real tight to all the special memories. Time will heal your broken hearts. My prayers are with your sweet family. (Mrs. Johnson, my son Michael Pergeson, was in your 4th grade class at Austin Elementary.)
